Subscriptions & Billing

Managing your plan, payments, and subscription.


Plans and Pricing

BookMe offers subscription plans with different features. When you sign up, you'll choose a plan or start a free trial.

Common Plan Features

  • Number of calendar connections — How many calendars you can link
  • Number of appointment schedules — Different booking page types
  • Custom branding — Remove BookMe branding from your pages
  • Advanced features — More customization options

The exact features depend on your current plan. You can see your plan details in Dashboard → Settings → Billing.


Free Trial

New accounts typically get a 14-day free trial to explore the features.

During your trial:

  • Full access to all features
  • No charges to your card
  • You'll be prompted to subscribe before the trial ends

Starting Your Subscription

  1. Go to Dashboard → Subscribe (or click the prompt during onboarding)
  2. Choose your plan
  3. Enter your payment details
  4. Confirm

Your subscription begins immediately. You'll be charged on the day you subscribe, then on the same date each month (or year, for annual plans).


Managing Your Subscription

View Current Plan

Go to Dashboard → Settings → Billing to see:

  • Your current plan
  • Subscription status (active, trial, past due)
  • Billing cycle (monthly or annual)
  • Next billing date

Change Plan

  1. Go to Dashboard → Subscribe
  2. Browse available plans
  3. Select your new plan
  4. Confirm the change

If you upgrade, you'll be charged the prorated difference. If you downgrade, you'll receive credit toward future billing.


Billing Portal

For self-service payment management:

  1. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Billing
  2. Click Manage Billing or Update Payment Method
  3. This opens the Stripe billing portal where you can:
    • Update credit card info
    • Download invoices
    • Change billing address
    • Cancel subscription

Cancellation

If you cancel your subscription:

  • You keep access until the end of your current billing period
  • After that, features may be limited
  • Your data is retained for a period (check our data policy)

To cancel:

  1. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Billing
  2. Click Manage Billing
  3. In the Stripe portal, find cancellation options
  4. Or contact support

Payment Issues

If payment fails:

  • Card declined — Update your payment method in the billing portal
  • Expired card — Add a new card
  • Insufficient funds — Try another payment method

We'll notify you if there's a payment issue and give you time to resolve it before losing access.


Invoices

Invoices are available in the billing portal:

  1. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Billing
  2. Click Manage Billing
  3. Look for Invoice History or Billing History

Each charge generates an invoice you can download as PDF.


Refunds

If you believe a charge is incorrect:

  1. Check your invoice first
  2. Contact support with details
  3. We'll review and get back to you

Refund policies vary — support can explain what's applicable to your situation.


Subscription Required

If your account requires a subscription (enforced by the admin), you'll see a prompt to subscribe when:

  • Your trial ends
  • Your subscription lapses
  • You try to access features requiring a subscription

In this case, you must subscribe to continue using the dashboard.
